We had videochat with Michael (in Stockholm), and Ethan, Kelly and Evelyn (in Santa Clara) to talk about Mama-Mama and see the antics of super-baby Evelyn. She demonstrated how she has learned to roll over, and she is VERY verbal.
The family matriarch, Etha, died this morning at Edgemere Retirement Community. Lorn and two nephews, Hayden and Mark, were with her at the time. This photo was taken last weekend during our visit with her and Lorn. Note the picture in the background of Etha holding her great granddaughter Evelyn at Thanksgiving.
On a cold winter night old Blackjack found a cozy bed in Angel's basket in front of the fireplace.
Angel crawled up into A's lap to take in a broadcast by the Berlin Phil. over our new surround 5.1 system selected and purchased through his work by Ethan.
Explaining what 'upload' and 'download' mean to the 90-year-old Electrical Engineering Professor.
To the right of this view is Atkins Hall where T spent some happy undergrad days. Dallas Hall is in the distance (English Lit, German, Theater, Anthropology Classes were here).
T took Lorn to play the carillon at church and then toured around SMU, his alma mater. The Mustang Band Hall is down on the right.
She was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital with an infection. Here A feeds her mother while Mel 'helps' by pretending to eat too.
She is too cute to ignore. She is enjoying a new fuzzy blanket with clips to hold it in place given to her by Aunt Julie.
