Saturday night we went to the Verdi performance at the new Long Center for the Performing Arts. It was breathtaking, bringing tears to our eyes.

Then Sunday we saw The Pirates of Penzance featuring our friend Russ Gregory as the bumbling Police Sergeant. It was a lively and fun performance, with exceptional voices in the young male and female leads.
