Tarantula
When I opened the back door to take pictures of the hail this little furry fella ran into the kitchen to get out of the storm. I gently took him to the front porch out of the rain before the cats could find him. He walked over behind a large potted plant to wait out the rain and hail.
Hail, Hail, The Storm's All Here!
A terrific thunderstorm blew in tonight and the back deck was covered with hail stones.The oak trees shed leaves. It will make for a major cleanup job tomorrow.

Boy, Is She Happy!
She's always wanted a grand piano. Now she can play almost any instrument with her new Yamaha Clavinova, record voice and keyboard, and play music to a staff with the Garage Band program on her Mac.

Over 1 Million Bats
A steady stream over an hour long flying by the gibbous waxing moon. This is the world's largest urban bat colony. Each one eats over his body-weight in insects every night.
T and Lorn Bat Watching
They sleep in the crevases under the Congress Avenue bridge and drop out to swarm away.
