Bells from Elk Camp
I climbed up to an overlook to get this view up Maroon Creek Valley. One can spot that this was carved by a glacier.
Gondola Up
It's a long ride up to Cafe Suzanne on Elk Camp. As you can see it has clouded over and the wind picked up.

Elk Camp Gondola
We arose earliewr than usual to catch the snow before it turned into a frappe. There were few riders when we caught the new lift up Elk Camp.

3-Day-Old Baby Blanket
Four inches of the 40-inch blanket for "L.L. Bean" A has knitted on this trip.
Stopping for lunch
We decided to have lunch at the condo: leftover chicken, green beans, new poatoes and tomatoes stirred together in a delicious meal.
Snowmass Peak
Snowmass Peak is a couple miles west of the ski area above a mining town now called 'Old Snowmass'.

Our Laurelwood condo is just behind the trees at center. Timberline where we have stayed with Ann and Olie is on the left.
Lift line at base
We encountered our first lift line at the Village 6-person express chair. Just beyond a new Children's Center is rising.
Monday, Monday
We are up (barely) for a hearty breakfast to tide us over 'til a late lunch at Cafe Suzanne on Elk Camp.

Sunday Dinner
A made an avocado and tomato salad, left-over green beans and potatoes, and T cooked garlic chicken.

No sooner had we sat down than we received a call from Lorn seeking computer consultation on Butler County, Missouri.

We built quite an appetite in our morning ski, so we wolfed down our meal with a view.
