Walking!
Then she figured out how to do it all by herself! After she plopped down she squealed and clapped her hands along with the admiring crowd.
Climbing the stairs
Of course Ava headed for the stairs and climbed to the top. Her daddy came along for safety. She loved looking down on us.
Curt and Bostwick
Curt's brother and family came over bringing lobster, mussels and shrimp. What a feast!
License plates
We had breakfast at The Red Cottage nearby, and our Brazilian waitress treated us very well. The food was delicious and generous - especially the French taost and the biscuits and sausage gravy.

Ava's duds

Reward for 44 years
At the "all marrieds' dance we were the last on the floor. Ann gave us this fragrant rose bouquet she had made herself.
Firepit
The younger set gathered around the fire for beer and marshmallows and to keep warm in the cool evening.
