Wedding Weekend

The following series (in reverse chronological order) was taken June 7 through June 10 of Ethan and Kelly's wedding weekend here in Austin. This included the gathering of family on Thursday and a bar-b-que rehearsal dinner at the Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas. The cousins arrived at Casa Lowry Friday for water volleyball, dam-building in the creek, picnicking under the trees and riotous talk. Then on to THE WEDDING at the Vuris home back yard attended by seemingly hundreds of family and friends. The dinner and reception went on until the wee hours with lots of happy repartee and imbibing. Saturday was Family Fiesta Day at the Lowrys with a Tex-Mex brunch at Mesa Rosa Restaurant. Games and conversation filled the decks, pool and meadow, with diehards playing the Swedish lawn game of kubb until after dark. Sunday the Lowry sibs gathered for some family visiting and quiet reflection while the younger generation spent the day on a party boat on Lake Travis.
