Over 1 Million Bats
A steady stream over an hour long flying by the gibbous waxing moon. This is the world's largest urban bat colony. Each one eats over his body-weight in insects every night.

A & Lorn at 2 keyboards
She is playing the new Clavinova with the 9-foot grand stop while he plays my grandmother's circa 1925 Baldwin upright. They are having such fun doing duets between the music professor and the 91-year-old roadhouse piano player. ; ) Everything from Scott Joplin to J. S. Bach

Duet
Daughter and father play duets in the music room on the Baldwin and our portable keyboard. The next day he decided she needed a better keyboard for playing with him, so he went out and bought a Yamaha Clavinova with the digitized sound of a nine-foot grand. They really enjoy making music together.

A's Trip To Illinois
A went to Champaign for the funeral of Will Worley, a cousin on the Johannaber side of the family. While there she tramped around the town where she spent many childhood years.

Carolyn's Window
This was given to Presbyterian Church by the next generation in honor of their mother Carolyn Worley. They claim that this is the only church window containing the lavender triange for inclusiveness in the church.

Right behind her house where A played as a child and picked asparagus along the right-of-way
Peonies
A said she had one of these flowers on her birthday cake made by her mother each year in Champaign.
Mark & A
A flew to Champaign, IL for the funeral of her second cousin once removed Will Worley. She was driven around by her cousin Mark Juergensmeyer from CA. They were the first at the cemetery for the graveside service.

Mothers' Day Brunch with the Wymans
We joined Curt and Pat for a sumptous feast at Onion Creek CC. We ate prawns with horseradish-spiked red sauce, smoked salmon with chive cream cheese and capers, artichoke hearts and onion and mushroom salad, prime rib (best I've ever had), chili relleno with fresh salsa, garlic mashed potatoes, baby asparagus, crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon, lettuce wedges with blue cheese crumbles, mimosas, creamed corn with red peppers, German chocolate cake, key lime pie, huge strawberries, dark chocolate cake with raspberry sauce, hot sticky pecan buns, and coffee. Evenso we passed on the fancy omlettes and many other dishes. We ate and talked for 2 hours for a wonderful time.
